FISTRAD worked with SEND-Ghana on the HIPC Watch project. The objective of the HIPC project was to monitor the disbursement of HIPC funds to ensure that it improves the quality of life of citizens. Data on allocation of funds by MMDAs was collected from the district level to find out how much was spent on education, health and water and sanitation related projects. We also monitored and reported on the labelling of HIPC funded projects to promote transparency and accountability in the disbursement of HIPC funds.
